Points competition – January 2018

After our chat about sixes working at home to earn some badges the points totals for January were increased by a number of badges being awarded.

At one point the two top sixes were just 4 points apart. However, the “young voices at the O2” event counted towards the entertainer and personal challenge badges as it did last year. In addition some people found their missing home safety badge homework from last year and returned that. Finally, the Billingshurst U10 footballers were nominated for their physical recreation badges by their coach and that affected 4 Cubs. With each activity badge being worth +20 points it can make all the difference.

At the end of the month the Yellows held on to their lead that they established last month.

Our Cub of the Month was Finn who completed a number of badges during the month and was one of the nominated footballers.

Points competition – December 2017

The December competition was rather a short one as we only had three pack meetings. As a result the totals were quite low.

However, badgework done at home helped push the Yellows into a significant lead.

Our Cub of the Month was Joshua who completed a number of badges during the month

Points competition – Jul/Aug 2017

It was the Yellows that took the crown for our July and August competition, narrowly pushing the Blues into second place.

In addition to the points from July we also added in the points earned at Summer Camp

Our Cub of the Month was Lucybelle who not only became Sixer of the Yellows but also earned a number of badges at camp.

Points competition – January 2017

points

We started 2017 with a fairly quiet few weeks. Most of the points are from weekly attendance with no significant badges being completed in the period. We’ve rebalanced the sixes to compensate for gaps left by leavers last term.

Congratulations to the Yellows who’s solid performance saw them edge ahead of their nearest rivals, the greens.

Our Cub of the Month was James S who was helped by earning his skills challenge by doing work at home.

Points competition – July 2016

points

July was a short month with only three weeks of meetings. However, it included the sailing taster which earned a number of our Cubs two activity badges (+20 each). We’ve not added in badges earned at Sussex100 as they will be presented in September. At the end of the month it was the Yellows who had pulled ahead to take the top spot.

The Cub of the Month competition was incredibly close with our winner being just a single point ahead of a number of Cubs and no less than nine Cubs being within 5 points. So well done to Aiden for ending up as our Cub of the Month.
