Points competition – November 2017

The November competition includes extra +20s from the remainder of Cubs completing their home safety badgework followed by those that completed their communicator badges.

In addition we have Remembrance Sunday which includes points for all those that attend with extra points to those with a special role such as laying the wreath. As a result there are some high scores but also a very close result for the top two places.

Our Cub of the Month was Jasmine who completed her challenge badges and gained her Chief Scout’s Silver Award during the month.

Points competition – October 2017

The October competition was rather a short one as we only had three pack meetings. As a result the totals were quite low.

Lots of people who started Cubs or Beavers in September get joining in badges in October as it marks the date when they were originally invested. It is only +5 but can make all the difference in a short month. We also added in the +20 for those that have completed their home safety badge by returning their phone numbers sheet.

Our Cub of the Month was Lucybelle. Normally being best Cub in October means that you get to lay the wreath at Remembrance Sunday but as she cannot make it we will be looking down the list.

Points competition – September 2017

The last time that the Greens won six of the month was a whole year ago in September 2016 so it is great to see them on top again.

In addition to the points from September pack meetings we also added in the points earned at our Space Race weekend camp.

Our Cub of the Month was Luke who wins the competition for the first time. It was a close run thing with 3 other Cubs within 2 points of his total.

Points competition – Jul/Aug 2017

It was the Yellows that took the crown for our July and August competition, narrowly pushing the Blues into second place.

In addition to the points from July we also added in the points earned at Summer Camp

Our Cub of the Month was Lucybelle who not only became Sixer of the Yellows but also earned a number of badges at camp.

Points competition – June 2017

For the last three months it has been the mighty Blues that have been our best six so it is rather a reversal of fortunes for them in June, coming in at fourth place.

Instead it was the Reds that took the crown with the Yellows once again in second place.

Our Cub of the Month was Poppy.
