Points competition – October 2018

In October the competition between Yellows and Blues continued but this time the Yellows ended up in the lead.

Our Cub of the Month was James who was one of three Cubs who became a Sixer or Seconder in the month. On top of his regular attendance and good inspection points this earned him +25 points which pushed him into the lead.

Sadly October is the last month that the Greens will be taking part in the competition. With falling numbers ahead of the change of leaders at Christmas we have closed down the Greens and just have three sixes now.

Points competition – September 2018

At the end of September it was once again the Blues who were our best six.

In addition to the points earned at our pack meetings this month we  included points gained through the completion of badges at our Spy School weekend camp.

Our Cub of the Month was Martha who completed her Chief Scout’s Silver Award during the month. It is the highest award in Cubs so well done to her.

Points competition – July & August 2018

For the last 6 months the Six of the Month has alternated between the Yellows and the Greens. At the end of July it was almost the Yellows again but the Blues surged ahead for a convincing win.

In addition to the points earned at our pack meetings in July we  included points gained through the completion of badges at Summer Camp. Unfortunately nobody from Reds came to camp and so this left them rather well behind in fourth place.

Our Cub of the Month was Izzy who did well for badges at Summer Camp, including completing her Adventure challenge.

Points competition – June 2018

For the last 5 months the Six of the Month has alternated between the yellows and the greens. Last month it was the greens so this month it must be the yellows turn. Points this month include badges earned at our weekend camp and also points for helping at the Billingshurst Show.

Our Cub of the Month was Lucybelle who gained extra points by completing her Chief Scout’s Silver Award. That’s the highest award in Cubs so well done.

Points competition – Mar & Apr 2018

Wit the Easter holidays we only had a few pack meetings in March and April so have joined them together into one competition.

In this period the points include attendance at the St George’s Day event where 12 Cubs represented the pack and earned +10 points each.

At the end of the month the Yellows pushed ahead to knock the Greens off the top spot.

Our Cub of the Month was Adam who is one of our newest members but attends regularly and comes to our weekend activities too.
