On 13 September 2016 we took our pack meeting to the RSPB reserve at Pulborough Brooks
On a wonderfully warm evening we were pleased to be outside and made the most of the fading light as we searched for creatures of the deep.
The Cubs found dragonfly nymphs, snails, loads of water boatmen and a great crested newt.
We are grateful to Anna from the RSPB for organising the evening for us.
Google has changed the way it displays our photos so click on the first one and then the white “i” in the top corner to see our captions in the info window on the right of the screen.
Thanks to the parents that stayed with us for the evening – having 2 adults per six by the water worked well and we hope that you found the evening interesting. Remember – Cubs is not just kids stuff – we’re always pleased to have more helpers.
